This Saturday Tony Pile will lead a ride over to Fairview and beyond. All routes will get the chance to warm up on the Wilkins Branch climb, then take Backbone, Caney Fork and King Road before crossing highway 100 and skirting Bowie Nature Park. After a rest stop at the Marathon gas station, the 35 and 41 mile routes go south while the 50 heads north to CCC Road and Forest Drive before turning back on South Harpeth. The shorter route comes back in via Hargrove and Pinewood, whilst the medium and long routes tackle the beast of Big East, the short bushwhack at the end of Fire Tower Road and finally the Natchez Trace Parkway back down to the school. 

The pre-ride briefing will call out the nasty steep section at the end of CCC Road and details of the Fire Tower Road bushwack, for those who've never had the pleasure of that neat shortcut
